Shipping and Delivery
Services

All preparations and requirements for shipping and delivery of our puppies are well taken care of. All you have to do is go to the airport and pick up the puppy upon arrival or choose to have the puppy delivered to your home. Your puppy will be shipped and will arrive the same day.

We only ship puppies with “Unique Airlines Transport Option” to minimize stress and risks. We ensure our chosen airline implements “Pet Safety Programs” and has traveling companions who take excellent care of our puppies in a cabin, a temperature-controlled environment (not under the plane as cargo).

Shipping a puppy is a very straightforward process. We will book the flight for the puppy and email you with a reference or Airway Bill Number (AWB#) and flight itinerary. Flight bookings for our puppies can be made on the same day of travel with our shipping agent.

Is shipping really safe for the puppy?

I receive many inquiries about the shipping process—people often wonder if it is safe and how it works.

Won’t the puppy be scared? How long does it take?

**Won’t it be difficult for the puppy to be alone in a crate for so long?** Here’s how I explain the shipping process to help you feel more at ease: Shipping a Puppy Is Very Safe: - The average flight is approximately 2 to 5 hours. I always check for any delays or layovers and know the exact times and departures of the flights, so I can provide you with the most up-to-date information. - The puppy will arrive the same day it is sent—usually within a few hours. I include a large, fluffy bed of shredded newspapers in the crate for the puppy to nestle in, usually a chew toy (they love them), and a toy or sock with my scent to help the puppy feel secure.

What about shipping in the winter—isn’t it too cold?

If you decide on a puppy, I guarantee—with many years of experience—that he/she will arrive safe and sound. Puppies can be shipped safely between 20 and 85 degrees. All puppies ride in the crew cabin of the plane, where the temperature is kept at a comfortable 70 degrees, the same as for passengers on board, and they are the last on and first off the plane. Shipping during this time of year is completely safe, and there is no need to worry. Just like a person flying to meet relatives or friends for the holidays, shipping a puppy is very similar—and probably even a bit easier. The only difference is that airlines can be strict about the minimum temperature at each location (which is good for the puppies, even though the plane is always kept at 70 degrees). This is mainly for their liability and protection. **Note:** Most shippers specialized in shipping pets use temperature-regulated crates called electronic crates, which is why we can ship in both winter and summer.

What is involved in the shipping process?

Since I am 30 minutes from my nearest airport and do not charge extra for delivery like most breeders, I try to make each trip count by taking multiple puppies at a time while accommodating your specified times. Therefore, it helps me greatly if you can provide multiple times/days you (or someone with ID) would be available to pick up the puppy. Once all amounts have been received, I can book the puppy. I will need to know the day(s) and time(s) you are available to pick up the puppy, your nearest airport, your home address, and phone number.

Typically, I can only book a flight a day in advance to account for temperature conditions. After booking the puppy, I will call and/or email you with the flight number, times, and location where the puppy should be picked up. All you need to do is pick up the puppy at your airport—bringing a couple of forms of identification, such as a driver’s license or insurance card, and the airway bill number I provide. I ask individuals to contact me as soon as possible after receiving their puppy so I can ensure everything went well and address any questions you might have.
